It’s very hard nowadays to keep up with the lies and half truths poured into the gullible public ears by government officials with an agenda and by commercial interests. Neither has any regard whatever for the truth of their statements, only for the effect they cause by constant repetition.

In spite of all the research of the past ten years it is clear that the PR of the soy producers has swamped the voices of truth and science with great success, as often happens in America. And the results are now becoming serious enough for even the medical profession to begin to take notice in their journals.

In June 1975 there was a fatal shoot-out near Wounded Knee, South Dakota. An Indian and two Federal agents were killed. Four members of the American Indian Movement AIM were indicted on murder charges in the deaths of the two agents. Apparently if you shoot back at someone shooting at you it becomes murder when the shooter is in the FBI.

This coming weekend, with the New Moon in Virgo on the 18th to introduce it, is the time when many pagans in Illinois are celebrating the Festival of Mabon, so to ensure a reference for those who need to have one before the rituals, here it is.

Every month I receive the magazine Muy Interesante which is a fine piece of Tid Bit journalism in Spanish. The content is always ‘Very Interesting,’ the meaning of the name of the magazine, and the illustrations and content are amazingly good. The only doubtful part is the cover, which though beautifully drawn or photographed is always of something sensational.
