Last year, on August 26th I posted an essay entitled “We are all Orchestral Players.” In it, as usual, I connected dots from various research projects. I explained how Backster with his lie detector discovered that plants register human emotions, and are affected by them, and how Vogel discovered that distance had no diminishing effect on the ability of plants to receive thought energy from humans. The inverse square law so beloved of physicists did not apply. This work is summarized in the The Secret Lives of Plants by Tomkins and Bird.
