Almost everyone I have met has seen one or both of the movies “What the Bleep…” and "Down the Rabbit Hole." They are familiar with the concept of neurons in the brain joining together to form pathways down which the nerve force flows more and more easily, like a little gully formed when rain trickles downhill. Water flows more easily down the most traveled pathways and so does nerve force. It’s how habits are formed.
There are some principles that could be applied to all healing modalities like Reiki, Dar’ Shem, Quantum Touch et al, that come under the heading of energy work. Here are a few Douglas thoughts about the matter. I hope they will be of interest, though they only skim the surface of an immensely deep subject.
And so we come to the Master symbol, or in the Ministry usage, symbols. We shall use DKM as shorthand for either one, and R for the symbol within the symbol that some use only for attunements. As a bit of trivia, Mrs. Takata didn't use R.
This symbol is the main reason that I wanted to do Reiki, to access totally inaccessible memories that I knew were part of a set of programs that were not optimum in my life. It worked, I must add. The symbol is written in kanji and the translations vary.
Mrs. Takata summarizes it as "The Buddha in me sees the Buddha in you." This is a Japanese version of the Hindu, Namaste, "The divinity in me greets the divinity in you."
