It may not make us free in the current circumstances but it is better to know the truth than to work from a foundation of falsehoods. Here then is a summary of several truths about the government and the current situation, which when put together may lead interesting conclusions.

It is very rare to read anyone who can say exactly what is going on at any time. We get so used to spin and lies from the media and the government, state and federal, that we have forgotten what the truth sounds like. Well, thanks to Charley Reese, here it is, as clearly as it can be said, and right on the button, no matter your politics or religion.

Now that EVERY truthful sector of the media is under attack from the GOP and their lackeys I will have to insert cogent material now and again, while this blog is permitted, from one medium that has not quite succumbed to pressure from the corporations, the BBC. Here is a recent item about terrorist threats, relevant to the American ‘system’ of keeping the nation in a state of fear by coded color alerts, usually, it seems, to divert attention from some governmental chicanery going on in the background. The treatment is obviously British to those without deaf ears.

Metaphysical folks like us are often interested in religion, though we are not always pious accepters of whatever the current fad is among dogmatists. It would pay us well to understand the enormous gap between truth and the current Tea Party dogma about the religious right’s views on the Founding Fathers. They are deliberately introducing lies about religious matters into politics and policy that will affect all of us.
