When you’ve been doing any of the Reikis for a few years you suddenly realize that you have discovered ways to use the symbols that weren’t in your manual back when you agonized over the bits and pieces of the Time Distance Symbol as you tried to learn to draw it.

And those who have access to healing modalities other than Usui Reiki find that it pops up during their sessions in very interesting ways, and is a sort of Swiss Army Knife in its versatility. Body Talk workers and Runists for example find their Reiki hands turning on during sessions.
