This is taken from the comments of a retired CIA agent who worked to alter the economic systems of other countries. This is a good example of what hundreds of people have been saying for ages in little monographs and pamphlets. The main print media don't touch anything like the truth about this country, but now we have the internet and anyone with a voice and courage can at least get the message out in cyber space without all the expense and hassle of writing books that can be destroyed or suppressed.

Here then is an exposition of what this country does in the world by a CIA agent who was part of the process. The citizens are often totally ignorant about it. People in the affected countries know, and hate America cordially. The know-nothing American tourist wonders why he or she, so friendly and affable are not always treated as friends when they go abroad. Other people remember their history. Here begin the words of John Perkins.

"We are the world's biggest empire in history...and we have gotten away with building this empire through manipulation, assassinations, fomenting instabilities against governments uncooperative to our chamber of commerce, blackmail and plain theft of other countries' resources..."

John Perkins CIA also explained that the "American foreign policy is designed to render weaker nations PERMANENTLY subjugated to our will and that of our chamber of commerce, it has nothing to do with democracy..I was part of this project of American empire".

He further explained how the American foreign policy of subjugation and exploitation comes in stages:

"First - we send our economic hitmen, such as myself, to offer countries projects: we tell them, using rigged projections through our State Department, 'Look,,,in so and so number of years, your economy is going down like this, so let us help you with these solutions'....then we offer them loans at usurious rates knowing that they won't be able to pay, but they badly need investments...then we tell them, when pay-up time comes and they can't pay, 'look, let's make a deal'....telling them to weaken their labor laws, sovereignty laws, allow our corporations to come in without regulations...in return for easing on their debt...but we make sure that the loans and the new investments are used to advantage our companies and not theirs...if they REFUSE - we resort to blackmail, using sex, jewelry, money, etc...if they still refuse -- we send in the JACKALS...CIA and other operatives who perform our assassinations..that's what we did to Torillos and others like Allende in Chile....if they still are difficult and we can't perform assassinations...and the fomenting of insurrections and destabilizations...we make sanctions, and blame them for mismanagement...if they still refuse and are too surrounded by bodyguards, like Saddam Hussein...that's when we send in our Army....that's what you see in Iraq....my assignments included making deals with Saudi Arabian royalty to keep their petroleum at low price to our American corporations in return for arming them to support their regimes against their own people...and to ensure that the Petroleum remains in Petro-dollars.."
